Authors and reviewers
Who writes and reviews these guides
Every guide here is bylined to the PrayWithJesus.ai editorial team. That byline is a real thing and it links to this page, because a byline that links nowhere is worth nothing on religious writing.
The editorial team
The editorial team is the small group of writers and editors employed by the company that publishes this site. They draft the prayers, choose and check the scripture, write the answers, and re-review pages when something changes. They are not credited individually because the responsibility for what is published sits with the publisher, and because a fabricated author photograph next to a prayer would be worse than no photograph at all.
What this team is not
This is the part most sites in this category leave out, so here it is plainly. As of the date on this page:
- No member of the editorial team is ordained clergy, and we do not claim pastoral authority over anyone who reads this.
- No member is a licensed therapist, counsellor, physician, or attorney. Nothing here is clinical, medical, or legal advice.
- No seminary, denomination, diocese, or church body has reviewed, approved, or endorsed this material, and none is affiliated with it.
- We do not have a standing board of named theological reviewers. If that changes, this page will name them, with their affiliations, and you will be able to check them.
We would rather tell you that than borrow authority we have not earned. If a claim on this site matters to your life, take it to someone who actually knows you and actually holds a qualification.
What the team actually does before publishing
The full process is written out in the editorial policy. The short version: every scripture reference is opened and read in context, every quotation is checked word for word, every crisis number is checked against the operator that publishes it, and no page is allowed to promise a spiritual outcome or invent a statistic. AI is used to draft and research. A person checks it before anyone reads it.
The conversation product has no byline
When you talk to AI Jesus, no editor has seen that reply. It is generated in the moment, it can be wrong, and it is not reviewed by anybody before it reaches you. That is the difference between the written guides and the conversation, and it is why the product keeps telling you to check it against scripture and against people you trust.
Telling us we got something wrong
Write to help@praywithjesus.ai with the page and the sentence. If you are a pastor, priest, chaplain, or scholar and something here is careless with the text, we want to hear it and we will say so on the page when we fix it.
That inbox is not an emergency line. For anything urgent, call or text 988, or call 911.
